[Unholy Trinity Mafia]
FAQ
Where can I download your releases?

We have direct downloads(via http) available for all of our releases. If you click on the 'Projects' tab, then the type of download you want, a list of fandoms will be provided. Simple click on the fandom you're looking for and a page with the information regarding the fandom and the release in question, should point you to a (http) download link.

I have a forum/website that I provide download links for my members, do you mind if I post your scanlations there?

Yes, we do mind. These books should be bought.. our scans exist to help you enjoy what might not otherwise be recognized. If our scans are posted everywhere on the web, then it's not for the ideal purpose of providing you with an outlet to enjoy, but a free way to get around buying. If no one ever paid for these books, the artists wouldn't be able to keep drawing them.. keep that in mind. We specifically have said DO NOT POST OUR RELEASES ON AARINFANTASY OR NIHONOMARU. If you run a similar site, and post links there, then your site will gain notoriety here, for being a site that disrespects our wishes.

I run a scanlation group that does X fandom in X language. Can we use your scans to translate X piece into X language?

Sure, we don't mind. There's really not much we can do to stop you. If you're requesting our already cleaned scans and already proofed text files, then you will need to contact Leha directly. We don't mind sharing these things, but in most cases, we work it out as a trade. For more specific information, just email Leha and discuss the specifics with her.

I'm not sure what a lot of these terms mean, can you tell me some definitions?

Doujinshi: (doujin) This is a fan based piece of work that is designed after an original series. Anything that was written by someone other than the original artist, is considered a doujinshi. This includes fan based manga, fanfictions and other published works that are sold for profit.

Doujinka: The author/creator/artist of the specific doujinshi.

Shounen-ai: This is literally translated as "boys love", meaning that the relationships between the characters in the story, are homosexual in nature. This includes, boy/male x boy/male, slash, gay. Usually, when a story is marked as being shounen-ai, it is considered to be a soft story without any non-work safe material.

Yaoi: This is basically considered to be the same as shounen-ai, however this is more of a western based term. Most of the time, if a story is marked as being 'yaoi', it will contain situations that are more sexual in nature, such as hands down the pants, panting, etc. Anything marked 'yaoi' would not be considered work safe.

Seme and Uke: The 'seme/tachi' is usually the one that is the aggressor in the relationship. Another way of putting it, is that they're the 'top' in the sexual situation. The 'uke/neko' is usually the submissive entity in the relationship. They're also described as being the 'bottom'. There are circumstances where the aggressor is the 'uke' and the submissive is the 'seme', however, these situations are not often drawn.

Dominant x Recessive: The first name in a 'D x R' naming style, is the 'seme/tachi'; the one who's in control. The second name in a 'D x R' naming style, is the 'uke/neko'; the one who's being controlled. So basically, when you say Reborn x Lambo, Douwata, Sebastian/Ciel, the first name listed is the seme, the second one is the uke.

PWP: This means 'Porn Without Plot' or some say 'Plot? What Plot?' For more information on other abbreviations such as this, you can visit the Wikipedia, which has a lot of interesting abbreviations that can help everyone become more informed about what people are saying sometimes. ^_^

What kind of doujinshi do you plan to scanlate?

Since Leha mostly scans for us, and she's a hardcore pervert extraordinaire, it will mostly be hardcore yaoi. HOWEVER, Leha does have a soft side, and she likes to pick up things that she feels others in the group will appreciate. She's also been known to buy a doujinshi simply so that a translator/editor can work on it, since they've requested something of the sort. So our doujinshi can contain anything from sweet story lines, to hardcore PWP.

How does your rating system work?

G - General, a doujinshi that everyone and anyone can enjoy (Work safe!)

PG or PG-13 - Viewer discretion is advised. Suitable for 13 and above. A little hug here, a little kiss there, nothing too extreme.

R - Restricted. Contains disturbing themes that aren't  purely based on sexual situations but uses it and other adult themes are a common factor.

NC-17 - Definitely not for kids, may contain violence, nudity, sexual content, harsh language. In other words, that means it's mostly contains pure smut here.

Can I join the group?

Sure! We warn you though, we can be a little harsh on the application side of things, but this is mostly so that we know you're serious. A lot of people realize how big our coffers are, and simply want to join so they can download all the pretty doujinshi, yet never actually do any work. But even with that being said, we need all the help we can get! If you know how to translate japanese(kanji without furigana), if you can scan in and donate your doujinshi to us, or if you're a seasoned editor or typesetter, please feel free to fill out the application located here. We do accept single project volunteers, so don't be afraid to say you specifically want to work on X project. Leha is very accommodating like that!

My question isn't here on the page, can I ask it anyways?

Of course you can! There's no such thing as a stupid question. The only time a question is stupid, is when it isn't being asked! Just send an email off to Leha, she'll be able to answer all of your Mafia related questions.
